People hated the democratic presidential candidate bc he was a flip-flopper. He couldnt, allegedly, stick to one reason or point of view on a matter. He was accused of not having a solid point of view. Here are some of Junior's and his administration's flip flops - flip flops that have cost us over 1850 American lives and countless innocent Iraqi lives.

Here's one of my fav's, I watched this bullshit dribble out of his mouth...

BUSH WANTS OSAMA DEAD OR ALIVE... "I want justice. And there's an old poster out West, I recall, that says, 'Wanted: Dead or Alive.'" [President Bush, on Osama Bin Laden, 09/17/01]

FLIPP!!!

...BUSH DOESN'T CARE ABOUT OSAMA "I don't know where he is.You know, I just don't spend that much time on him... I truly am not that concerned about him."[President Bush, Press Conference, 3/13/02]

BUSH OPPOSES NATION BUILDING... "If we don't stop extending our troops all around the world in nation-building missions, then we're going to have a serious problem coming down the road." [Gov. George W. Bush, 10/3/00]

FLOP!!

...BUSH SUPPORTS NATION BUILDING "We will be changing the regime of Iraq, for the good of the Iraqi people." [President Bush, 3/6/03]

Announcing the invasion of Iraq on March 19, 2003, Mr. Bush said, “Intelligence gathered by this and other governments leaves no doubt that the Iraq regime continues to possess and conceal some of the most lethal weapons ever devised.”

Our conservative estimate is that Iraq today has a stockpile of between 100 and 500 tons of chemical weapons agent. That is enough to fill 16,000 battlefield rockets." -- Secretary of State Colin Powell, Feb. 5 2003, in remarks to the UN Security Council.

Two months into the war, on May 29, 2003, Mr. Bush said weapons of mass destruction had been found.

“We found the weapons of mass destruction. We found biological laboratories,” Mr. Bush told Polish television. “For those who say we haven't found the banned manufacturing devices or banned weapons, they're wrong, we found them."

"We know where [Iraq's WMD] are. They're in the area around Tikrit and Baghdad and east, west, south, and north somewhat." -- Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld, March 30, 2003, in statements to the press.

Wait for it....FLIP!!!

On Sept. 9, 2004, in Pennsylvania, Mr. Bush said: “I recognize we didn't find the stockpiles [of weapons] we all thought were there.”

BUSH SAYS IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO DISTINGUISH BETWEEEN AL QAEDA AND SADDAM... "You can't distinguish between al Qaeda and Saddam when you talk about the war on terror." [President Bush, 9/25/02]

ONE YEAR LATER, FLoP!!!

...BUSH SAYS SADDAM HAD NO ROLE IN AL QAEDA PLOT "We've had no evidence that Saddam Hussein was involved in Sept. 11." [President Bush, 9/17/03]

I love these three - in four months time three points of view...

Bush claims he can win the war on terror: "One of the interesting things people ask me, now that we're asking questions, is, can you ever win the war on terror? Of course, you can." [President Bush, 4/13/04]

FLIP!!
…Bush says war on terror is unwinnable: "I don't think you can win [the war on terror]." [President Bush, 8/30/04]

FLOP!!
…Bush says he will win the war on terror: "Make no mistake about it, we are winning and we will win [the war on terror]." [President Bush, 8/31/04]

Saw these two speeches as well...

BUSH SAYS WE FOUND THE WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION..."We found the weapons of mass destruction. We found biological laboratories...for those who say we haven't found the banned manufacturing devices or banned weapons, they're wrong, we found them." [President Bush, Interview in Poland, 5/29/03]

Whoops!! FLIP!!!!

...BUSH SAYS WE HAVEN'T FOUND WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION "David Kay has found the capacity to produce weapons. And when David Kay goes in and says we haven't found stockpiles yet, and there's theories as to where the weapons went. They could have been destroyed during the war. Saddam and his henchmen could have destroyed them as we entered into Iraq. They could be hidden. They could have been transported to another country, and we'll find out." [President Bush, Meet the Press, 2/7/04]

I almost bought oil futures when these statements came out - oil was only 49 bucks a barrel, but I couldnt profit off the blood of my fellow americans. Now its over 60 bucks a barell and people are talking of a hundred a barell - that would have made me a pretty little penny.

BUSH PROMISES TO FORCE OPEC TO LOWER PRICES... "What I think the president ought to do [when gas prices spike] is he ought to get on the phone with the OPEC cartel and say we expect you to open your spigots...And the president of the United States must jawbone OPEC members to lower the price." [President Bush, 1/26/00]

FLOP!!!

...BUSH REFUSES TO LOBBY OPEC LEADERS With gas prices soaring in the United States at the beginning of 2004, the Miami Herald reported the president refused to "personally lobby oil cartel leaders to change their minds." [Miami Herald, 4/1/04]

The Bush crime family will flip flop on anything as long as it is important and someone can make $$$ off it

BUSH PLEDGES NOT TO TOUCH SOCIAL SECURITY SURPLUS... "We're going to keep the promise of Social Security and keep the government from raiding the Social Security surplus." [President Bush, 3/3/01]

FLIP!!!!

...BUSH SPENDS SOCIAL SECURITY SURPLUS The New York Times reported that "the president's new budget uses Social Security surpluses to pay for other programs every year through 2013, ultimately diverting more than $1.4 trillion in Social Security funds to other purposes." [The New York Times, 2/6/02]

Love this one - almost made it within a month of each other

BUSH SUPPORTS CURRENT TOBACCO FARMERS' QUOTA SYSTEM... "They've got the quota system in place -- the allotment system -- and I don't think that needs to be changed." [President Bush, 5/04]

FLOP!!!

...BUSH ADMINISTRATION WILL SUPPORT FEDERAL BUYOUT OF TOBACCO QUOTAS "The administration is open to a buyout." [White House spokeswoman Jeanie Mamo, 6/18/04]

Maybe Kerry's flip flopping wouldnt have cost Innocent American and other lives. Maybe it would have. I don't know. But I know who's did. Between certain evil and only possible evil the choice was clear...

Quick eveybody apologize without Canada we wouldn't have things like Moslon, La Bats, Mounties, or Olympians who smoke pot and still win gold medals. Plus they have allot of hockey sticks and skates to fight with, because we all know how many guns they have up there compared to us REAL AMERICANS. As Mr. T said, and G.I. Joe "GO USA!" Not any friggin canadians.

I was pissed off last night when I posted that. Im too fucking easy going. I can barely tap the anger from last night made me post that shit.

Canada is awesome except for the geese which come here to the US and perpetually shit all over the college grounds where I work. I like to walk across the quads in the grass but its impossible when those geese are here.

Perhaps a list of the good things about the US and Canada would be interesting. A new thread perhaps...

Least the local beer has some content. Only need to drink a few to get the desiered effect, not all day drinking.

And not many of you southerners could withstand the weather. Remember it freezes up here, for at least half of the year. Remember what happened to Germany when they took on Russa?

Besides there is nothing up here in Canada, just trees and water and wild life, what about that could interrest the US?

But your right about the flip flopping of your presedent, It will be interresting to see what kind of presedents get elected over the next few terms. Oh Yeah, remember most of you voted for your current situation?

Oh,
And there are growing facilities under ground for "Bud" for medical use.

And then there is always BC Hydro.

Also, there is lots of Drama around Canadian politics, just that most US people dont really care, so it is not presented to the masses.

Once Quebec is removed from our contry, we can take over the power generation and re-route it to Canadians. Not let it go down to the US first and have it fed back north. Just cut it off and divert it west.

Also the wood produced in BC should be preserved, and forests should be left alone. That would stop the problems with Soft wood and the US complaints about it.

If Canada builds its own meat packing, we could not worry about selling cattle to the US, just keep it for our self. Im sure there is lots of Spare space for growing cattle in the US.

Im sure those in Norther US would not mind if Alberta and Sask stoped producing gas for export too. I mean it hardly even freezes below the border line right? And besides your friends in Veneswala would be happy to sell you more energy.

Just to set things straight, I do not like the way Canada is run. There is no back bone to our leaders. They run around helping the world while they steal tax payers money. The biggest problem with Canada is that Quebec is set on destroying it. So untill Canada sheds that burden It will be a have not contry. And soon as we start worring about our own and not the rest of the world, Canada will be better off. I hate how we give our money away to the under developed contries, it is just plane stupid.

anyways the moddo i stick to is....if you dont liek the US no one is keeping you here....go to china or something so you have a reason to bitch...cause they have reasons and they cant leave....

I would like to have a conversation with McT, sounds like he has his shit together.

But its the Gober kind of people that make things difficult. Seem to be high on themself and think that they can just blow off anyone and everything.

I dont really care what they found over there, cause who is watching and making sure the US does not get out of control? All powerfull and full of itself, something has to happen, Im sure it will not be good for anyone on this ball of dirt.

Not sure how england stands on issues completely but yes they usualy agree with the US. Canada goes along ... like it makes a difference anyway, what does it have to contribute? Nothing, Canada is not a miltary country.

nope... i was just pointing out the fact that when the US goes out and polices the world like it does, are main allies are britain canada and australia... its been that way since forever.... another thought.... i think wutevers goin on over there in iraq(voting on a constitution and shit) if you think its that simple, you're wrong....

just because i can, im gonna point out again... the UN is useless... (sorry random)

Just remember everyone, the USA wasn't built in a day. It took years and years. Plus on top of that we had one hell of a bloody war to become what we become today. That being said... just have patients with Iraq and Bush right now. Thats the problem these days, everyone wants instant gratification. This isn't that sort of thing, it might take a civil war between them to resovle this. And you also need to stop reading things word for word and look at the intention of these statements and the time said between them. bush doesn't need to say the popular thing right know he is already a lame duck President. He speaks his mind and people might not like what he is thinking. If you don't like it take his job. Thats whats great about here you have that choice. If not sit down and be quiet. Support our troops and BE PROUD TO BE AN AMERICAN!!!!!!!!!!

wow, scoarn im sorry you think im being difficult about it, but i have friends down range taht have to deal with that kind of shit everyday, you might not care about the explosives and bombs that are being confinscated out of the desert but i sure do. i am not very patriotic at all actually even though im in the air force...and sure the US doesnt do everything correct adn i dont agree with some things..but i just dont understand how people can bicth and moan about the US while they are citizens....none of this 'bush as a flip flopper' is constructive criticism, if your gonna take teh time to complian, take the time to try and make a difference...i know its hard, im in the military shit never goes my way. I was getting sent out for another 12 hour shift the other day to send planes down range to supply the army and i found myslef complianing i was out there...the guy who was driving me out turned to me and said ' you know your saving lives by sending a plane so the army doesnt have to send out a convoy and loose men, so next time you think a 12 hour shift is bad, just think you could be working round the clock in the hot desert not knowing if a missle is gonna land in your lap' i really had to take time and think to myself how am i complaining, i have a bed, food, people that are here for me. anyways im done blabbing, if your gonna desrespect my feelings on the subject scoarn im not gonna fight it...you live in the US you have freedom to complian about how bad it is. my point of this story is that every bomb i see come back in my plane i know saved someones life from it not getting sent striaght into a base over there...and if the war heads with serine gas and mustard gas in them that good ole CNN didnt air because its nothing new arent weapons of mass destruction...id like to konw what is...peace.

Most Canadians appear to have an inferiority complex. I really don't know anyone who ever bitched about Canadians before the WWW became commonly used and allowed most Americans to hear the comments of people from Canada. Before the web, all I knew of Canadians was that they pulled their own in WW1 and WW2 and I was content with having them as a northern neighbor. It seems since the web has allowed more interstate communication that most of what I hear from Canadians is how fucked up the US is and basically it's like having a little weaker version of France staked out to the north of us. I'll play psychoanalyst here and compare North America to 3 boys in a family. The US is the biggest and most respected, if not from it's actions, than it's power. Canada and Mexico are the two little brothers who are forced to live alongside their big brother. Canada is smart, but at the same time is physically too weak to stand up to big brother on his terms, so he try's to belittle him as much as possible without pissing him off enough to get punched in the fucking mouth. US puts up with this crap only because #1 Canada might be helpful at some point in major conflict if we gave him some cash (or other incentive), #2 you look like an ass if you beat up the weak and retarded who live right beside you.
Mexico has very few options available to him. He is stupid, he's weak, and he's corrupt. His only option is to try to stay off of his big brothers radar and hope that some scraps fall off of the table so he can survive. Every now and then, he says something stupid and immediately retracts it when he realizes the err of his ways. Mexico is of no use to his brother, so he basically ignores him and just makes sure no cousins from down south corrupt his mind and make him a problem.

I could keep going on this comparison, but my fingers are tiring out and I need a break, so anyone who wants to keep the family history going is more than welcome.
