im hoping i have a pic of it before i started. I'll have to search.

So far all the wallpaper is down which was a total bitch.

It was paint over wallpaper that was over latex paint painted over oil paint.

I dont know what dumbass does a thing like that but they did it in the kitchen too.

I was up til 3 am ripping that crap down.

Tonight I'll belt sand the walls and kilz. Then I'll paint.

The next project involves ripping out the sub floor, the toilet and the cabniet.

The ceiling may also need replacing.

I'm supposed to have some dude coming out to the floors but its Thursday and still no word from him. He was supposed to be here Monday!!

In a couple of more weeks the tub will be done.

Im so ready for this to be over with.

BTW: this isnt the first time nor the last time that LaRoacha and I flame it up in the forums. We do it because we love :D

seriously, i need a shower

anyway, im back from a grueling 2 hours at work and its time to start sanding and kilzing.

a nice bowl package ought to get me motivated.

I took some pics and I'll take some more as things progress.

I may also need some advice on some bathroom accessories. I kinda screwed up b/c i ordered the bathroom sink/counter top and tub thinking i was going to go completely charcoal/white and chrome but then when i went to pick out the floor a few weeks later i found this awesome red floor that i had to have. so now im trying to pull everything together.
I'll post some pics later and try to get some advice on the finish for the accessories.

ok the guys are here ripping out the toilet and vaniety and putting in the new floor. Hopefully done by tomorrow

The shower guy shows on Monday and should be done by Tuesday

the shower was the worst b/c we had been showing next to dry wall for nearly 8 yrs. I can't believe the wall stayed in tact, but it was solid. the only real damage was wear the wall met the tub b/c my dumbass put in some prefab calking that didnt seal and water got behind it and rotted it out. when i pulled off the pre-fab chalking some of the wall came with it :p

I think I'm going to contact a plumber and see what it might take to up the water pressure a bit. The water pressure is good with 2 heads going but it lacks with the 3rd running. Its ok but it would be much nicer with a little more power.

Middle, do you know any tips on getting the pressure up? Extra tank and pump or a pump I can add to an existing tank?

I'll be starting the building of the cauldron next weekend. its a pretty slow process so i need to go ahead and get started.

the most labor intensive job is the yard, which i have not started on b/c I've been waiting for it to cool down, and it hasnt

the yard is going to really suck this year b/c mark has not mowed the back yard ALL summer long. Its a freaking jungle back there. I might need a chainsaw :p

Also, since we didnt do halloween last yr, all the stuff has been under the carport for 2 yrs. lol
I need to go through all of it and see what needs to be tossed, replaced and kept. That's another project that im not looking forward to :(
