Cable Modem Suggestions

Neb and I are moving into our new apartment this weekend and hopefully our cable will be hook up then as well. We are not going to rent a cable modem from Cox for an extra $10.00 a month, so I'm just going to go ahead and buy one. Any suggestions on brands/prices?
