Was looing at wincustomize (http://www.wincustomize.com) and saw that they have a section called "boot screens" and "Logons". I looked a little closer, and you can download small freeware programs that will allow you to change your bootscreens and logon screens. It's all new to me. Thought it was pretty cool so I'm sharing with you.

I've done that with programs like Resouce Hacker that you hack the bitmap windows boots with. You can make your own you just have to make sure it's exactly the same bit-depth and resolution. I've got a menu when my machine boots that lets me pick one of like 4 screens. It's pretty cool.

yeah, ive seen this.. at one point i was using a Mac OS bootup screen.. but.. i eventually just went back to my normal... default.
