'crashes' on loading menu.. as does HL2... rebooted and got a steam update.. possibly a few errors on valve's part (heaven forbid)

I'm trying to connect after steam and CS updated and it says the server is out of date. I hope someone updated the server as well. Looks like I can't get in right now, for the lose.

Who all has the ability to run updates on the server?

the Server needs to update. It says "server out of date" everytime i try and connect. I have connected to other servers and have encountered no problems...I was playing in a 35 man server earlier with a 20 ping .

i try to open source but it just says "preparing to play counterstrike: source" and then it does jack shit... wtf... i dont get to play for a fuckin week, and this is what i come back to?? fuck this, im gonna go watch 'you got mail'
