I would be playing the hell out of it if it didnt crash my computer.

I dont know what the hell is wrong with it, but ever since about a month or 2 ago - I get about 10 minutes of playing time before my computer restarts itself or does something funky.

Perhaps my new bios settings might help.... hmm

Tell windows not to automatically reboot on error, so you actually see the BSOD. It could be something as simple as a bad RAM module causing that.

It probably is a bad RAM module... you are very right.

Which sucks - because now I am at a point where I dont really feel like dumping a bunch of money into old RAM (PC 3200)..

I have 1.25 Gigs of RAM with 2 512 chips and 1 256. :doubt:

Are you sure you have PC3200? That 256 chip I let you barrow/have or whatnot is only a PC2700, I believe. So you might want to try pulling that one first then trying to play bf2 again.

I'm pretty positive it is 3200

maybe I can do that, replace it with another 512 3200

i had TONS of problems with bf2 until i got another 1gig stick of patriot ram so i was running @ 2gigs...

runs like a champ.
