update on hoplon

hey guys just an update on hoplon here. he graduated from boot camp about a week ago, and is still in texas until april 20 something. after that he will be stationed in eglin airforce base in florida :) he said he will be a part of the special forces unit as an airplane mechanic

thats all for now if you want more info i talk to him whenever he can so just post a reply and ill ask him for ya

Yeah, i'm still alive. Actually i'm having alot of fun in tech school. My laptop is supposed to be here but the post office lost it. Hopefully it shows up soon. If not it's insured.

I'm using a friend's computer right now. Actually i'm supposed to be running the cq dest atm but it's slow.

I won't be able to play with you guys in most games while i'm here because my computer is too outdated but once i get to my first station where the internet connection is better i'll definatly be active again. I'll try to check in on you guys once and a while and see what's up.


I'm a turbo prop mechanic. I'll be working on c130s at Herbert AFB Florda. About 45mins from the cola area from what i hear.

We'll have to have a little get togeather when i get there.

HAHAHA all you have to remember with 130s dude is speed tape, looots and loots of speed tape.....im a c5 mechanic in dover, de.....how are you liking sheppard afb man? your gonna be there for a while...lol i was only there for a month but then i had more school in dover. which was better casue dover didnt have phases...awww i can barely even remember phase cards..lol....well your gonna love and hate being maintence....no holidays off...you work a lot of overtime (with no extra pay) but its a very rewarding job, im sure you already think your one of the badest in the AF, i know every crew dog in dover does.....and how are you liking the new dorms i fucking help build and only got to stay in 2 nights, hahaha. dude wow, this is bringing out so many memeories...lol ....marching to school as a squadron and your class is in a huge hanger...lol....did tehy put you on details yet? or have you been there longer then im imagining.. sorry im ranting on guys, i got out of tech school down there for the smae job hes doing just a diff jet...and about 2 years ago now.....so im gonna go call up my old tech schoool buddies now and cry..hahahhah later.

I'm in the oldest dorm on the base. This building is scheduled to be replaced in 07.
I had to do details the first couple weeks i was here. I did CQ desk one weekend and now i'm done with dorm details.

Crew dogs are next door, i'm a hellcat.

Matching to class sucks ass and so does the phase sytem. I'm having fun but i can't wait to get out of here.

oh damn they split 130s off since ive been there then, before all the heavey aircraft were teh same squadron.....i was part of the Longhorns down there...now our squadron in dover the crewdawgs...


shut up thunder...lol in tech school there are phases you go through so you dont explode comming out of boot camp to entire freedom, so like phase 1...you cant leave base and have to stay in uniform all times except in your room...phase 2 you can wear civis anywhere, but you have to be in uniform to leave base...phase 3 civis whenever even off base......i think thats how it went, agiann i havent been doing that in about 2 years so it could have changed...

I'm aware of the phase program there youngin. I just didn't realize that some airmen have become so stupid that they need a card they can carry to remind them. Also, there were five phases in my day, I went through the first 4 in a month and half because I was such a goody two shoes. Snap!

i think you hit phase 3 in a month or a month in a half now...but they like to wait it out iwth crew cheifs....i mena everyone elses squadron had like 250+ alcohol free days, well whne our squadron hit 45 we got off PT for a week...hhahah soooo muc drinking in texas....
