Thanks those of you who gave a hand yesterday with two of my ascension missions. By the time Zzala and Sylver logged off, I was well into my 12-15th try to ascend.
Finally did it.
I beat the glint mission as well, but couldn't kill her with pubs.
Now i'm in DF, armor shopping.

Everytime ive played that mission Glint just talks....am I missing somethen?

Yes,

If you try to take one of her eggs, she will attack, if you beat her, it is kind of meaningless as I can not remember what I got for it. A VERY good battle though, if you do not know what is coming you hardly stand a chance.

Carth....if your on ealry enough I can do my best to get you to thunderhead in time enough for everything tonight. Its two missions and I know them both well and they are not hard (done them both with henchies)

when I did that mission with you all, that was my first time _not_ fighting the glint...

not like you need it at that point - but she gives you a lot of XP... not to mention, as sckoarn said, its just a fun battle -- if you know what you are doing.

Skoarn brought up an interesting point yesterday, i wish i wasnt getting picked on by my dopple at the time...
Do scrolls effect the enormous amount of xp you get when you ascend?
Do they effect the mission and bonus xp's?

no, they don't. only monsters you kill are affected.

i ascended my level 12 character and jumped to lvl 20 upon receieving the 50k xp.

Don't think I'm gonna make TK tonight. I need to do a bit of farming, and go run around and grab a few missed spells and what not. As well as pass the two missions before it. Hope you guys have enough people!

Guild view is screwy, one minute, i have no guild, and the next Skoarn and meave are on... any ideas?
