Fuck the Steelers that game was fixed. That should have been a touchdown for Seattle, and shouldn't have been one for Pittsburg. That was a bullshit review. Lots of bad calls.

LIke breaking the leg of Cinci's quarterback on a late hit and no flag thrown against it? Steelers always get favored.

i still stick by my point that cinci would have won that game had palmer not gone down with a career ending injury.

he will not be the same. mark my words.

i won 400 smackers on the the game. I had 3-3 on the board and won when the score was 13-3.

the game wasn't a blow out. Big Ben was not in the end zone. And the Hawks only gave up to big play, but in the NFL big plays win you games.

That offensive intereference would never have been called in regular season..... The Rothlesbegier touchdown dive shouldve had at least another minute to be reviewed on.. The game was officiated in Pittsburghs favor, I mean, they called a penalty on matt hasslebeck tackling the ballcarrier, just because a non ball carrier was right next to him...What the hell is the QB supposed to do?? Wait for the blocker to block him, then shed that blocker than chase down the defenseman with the ball? BS all the way around, I wouldve lost my spirit to win after so many BS calls too.

Jerome Bettis needs a Super Bowl in his hometown for the win.... I love Jerome Bettis, but could we get some quality officials in the biggest game of the season???? Off the subject, Thank the Lord John Madden is done, I get tired of hearing announcing describing plays that a deaf, blind, and dumb junior high football player could describe on his 1st day of practice......

whatever. i agree with GB and zero. Bill Leavey is going to get tons of hate mail. All we did is when seattle did something good we'd say, "where's the flag? jesus no flag? I don't even know who I am anymore." Then we all commited a ritual suicide but my kool-aid was switched. But yeah, poor excuse of a referee. No way in hell was it pass interference and no way in hell was that a touchdown. even pittsburgh fans knew it wasn't a touchdown. I thought it was funny how the announcers were bashing on leavey the whole time too. steve young was pissed at half-time.

But there is no way he could have taken it back or he probably been beat down after the game. He made the mistake of calling it a TD first..

The_Machinist

he made the mistake of making this his profession. fucking dicklips. i hate being the guy that says the officials fucked. but in this case...yeah leavey fucked em. Lets try this one on for size. say the touchdown in question was denied and they went for a field goal. and the touchdown that was stripped from the seahawks was good. that would have tied the game, thus proving my psychicness. remember my prediction? seahawks by a field goal in overtime.

sylverarrow
02-06-2006, 12:28 PM
hehe yeah. That would have been some shit. Plus what the fuck were the Seahawks doing right before halftime??? It's like they didn't want to score. Plus their kicker wasn't doing very good, I mean he missed those 2 field goals by very little but still, that was 6 points that could have been on the board. Least it would have been 21-16...

McTucket

whatever, you try and do their job.

yeah thats what i thought.

they get to officiate the super bowl because they had the highest percentage of right calls made in the reg season.

the seahawks just plain didnt want it as bad as the steelers.

Don't be jealous now. It will be harder for you when Pittsburgh knocks Dallas off the top of the heap for most SuperBowls won.

Those questionable calls wouldn't have changed a thing had they gone the other way. Even if Seattle got to keep their TD they still would have lost to the better team. And even though Ben's QB sneak looked questionable to us the goal judge was RIGHT THERE and he called the TD. He was like 8-10 feet away on the sideline rushing in staring down at the play. So even though it looks shaky Im going with the professional's call.

I like Seattle and admired their play, even though J-vicious let me down causing me to lose a FF game by 1 point bc he didn't play though he was supposed to, all season. Versus any other team I'd prolly root for the 'hawks. But instead 30XL3 says, "you steeler haters all got pwnt!!!"

Good game - the better team won - what would a SuperBowl be without contraversy anyway?

do you honestly think that guy would have caught that ball if he hadn't pushed off of the steelers defender?

30, we all know you're a bit biased.

all in all, decent effort.

pushed off eh
'/?

Seahawks seemed like they just didn't want it bad enough. They were close but catching the ball out of bounds doesn't help, that would have been atleast 2 tds.
