View Full Version : Bad news in Iraq AND Iran

Tuesday was an apocalyptic day in Iraq.

The destruction of Samarra's Askariyah shrine (in a mosque) marks a Biblical moment of provocation in Iraq's ersatz Civil War. Put on your tinfoil hat bc I think there is a timetable to be kept here.

Some type of something will be done to Iran before May. Kind of vague? Not purposely. Stay with me. I'll bring it into focus.

These must be hard times for soft-headed apologists of "benign" empire, who thought there could be something of worth even to the fiction of liberation and democracy; who believed that civil war would be the last thing sought by Western powers, which wanted peace and security rather than provocation and chaos.

The Samarra mosque contains the shrine of the Hidden Imam, the Mahdi, whom many Shiites believe is about to manifest himself. It's a belief shared and encouraged by Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad as well as Iraq's Muqtada all-Sadr. (The United States, of course, couldn't comfortably confront Iran so long as its presidency was held by the frustratingly reasonable Mohammad Khatami. In Ahmadinejad - who, like Bush, most probably won his office as well by election fraud - the US has a fine millenial foil.)

The militia of Muqtada Al-Sadr is called the 'Mahdi Army". This is absolutely no coincidence. Chaos and violence is furthered. That's not the end I thought was sought. Even if the mosque was not purposely destroyed by covert agents, (directly or indirectly), it was "allowed" more or less to be destroyed. And the shrine of Sadr's army is not something to be trifled with. These people take religion VERY seriously.

One advantage of cultivating a base like GWB's which believes in the imminent end of the world is that the more catastrophic a regime's governance, the more encouraged its supporters become that they picked the right horseman for an apocalypse. Is all hell breaking loose? Great - all hell should break loose.

Because of the destruction of the mosque this insurgency is about to become something much much fierce. Civil War then war with Iran. Then who knows what. We'll be fighting in Afghanistan, Iraq, Iran and who knows where else. And it's not Saddam's fault or the fault of our troops. I know where the blame rests.

How short is our time, and how hot the coming hellfire? One more month, maybe, of this New Normal, before we tumble into the next circle. Consider this report published last Friday by Newropeans Magazine

There are two verifiable facts from this article and if you don't want to read it I will put them right here:

-on the one hand there is the Iranian decision of opening the first oil bourse priced in Euros on March 20th, 2006 in Teheran, available to all oil producers of the region;

- on the other hand, there is the decision of the American Federal Reserve to stop publishing M3 figures (the most reliable indicator on the amount of dollars circulating in the world) from March 23, 2006 onward.

...there is an over 80% the probability that the week of March 20-26, 2006 will be the beginning of the most significant political crisis the world has known since the Fall of the Iron Curtain in 1989, together with an economic and financial crisis of a scope comparable with that of 1929.

Right now all oil is traded in US dollars. US dollars are no longer backed by gold, thanks to Nixon, they are in fact backed by oil. Iran aims to change that. Diplomacy would have avoided this. War caused it. War is the only response to such a threat to the core of the US. I know that many people like to say the idea of an Iranian oil bourse will never work and is a conspiracy theory at best but it's not the actuality of the bourse that concerns me but the response by GWB's administration. His track record is less than encouraging.

The fascist warmongers, profiteers, and incompetent chickenhawks in the Bush government do not operate by the rule of law, nor do they abide any guiding principle, or even reason or logic in the prosecution of the governments mephitic machinations and designs.

Soooooo.... Hi ho, hi ho, its' off to neverendingwar and armagedon we go!!!

Should a messianic figure doffing a Blue Turban emerge proclaiming a jihad against the great satan - it will be time to head for the hill, and make your peace with the creator.

I cannot think of anything short of a miracle that will stop the coming war with Iran. A miracle is needed.

What Iran really threatens is to no longer accept US dominance. The US will not respond moderately. We are not a benign empire. Not at all, even a little bit. We have become a country where you are raised not to believe that the ends justifies the means but the government practices just that very philosophy.

But the ends NEVER justifies the means. That is an anti-christian and anti-american ideal.

There are signs out there. The eclipse on March 29th is going to be a fucking doozy. I hope the coming "wonders" let my new daughter live her life.

where did you get this information from?

It was beamed directly into my brain - one of the multitudinous benefits of afitting oneself with such helmetry as a tin foil hat.

The bombing of the Shrine on Tuesday was on TV. The name of Sadr's army was also known to me from familiar sources. I made that connection myself when I researched what the big deal was for this particular mosque's destruction. Plus, I have an abiding interest in all religions.

The shiite/Iran connection is also common knowledge.

Same for the eclipse.

Ditto for the Iranian Oil Bourse, Nixon taking the dollar off the gold standard and the fact that oil is traded in US dollars.

Of course, I don't get any of my news info AT ALL from CNN/FOX. Most of it is filtered from the web by me - no fancy programs or any newsgroups or what not. Not even google. Working at an educational facility has a lot of benefits when you consider search engines and what not.

I had never heard of the M3 figures before I read the article I posted a link to. But it does seem especially alarming that for the first time in history we (the US) will no longer be telling ANYONE outside of the US gov't just exactly how much US currency is out there.

The blue turban thing is a half dig at a prophecy by Nostrodamus.

The rest is speculation. God, I hope that I am wrong.

Yeah, I do most (95%) of my own selection but there are a few "conspiracy" web rings I follow.

But don't get me wrong I read ALOT of sites and articles. Not just liberal ones, either. And don't forget I listen to Rush and Sean each day and love to check the drudge report for the latest in right wing propoganda.

There are also two AM talk show people on Sean's channel here in NJ that I like to listen to but I can't recall their names. One of them spouts the Republican talking points before the repubs start doing it the next day. It's odd. His name is John something. He talks with a lisp. Maybe its John Bachelor. Don't know, (really tired tonight). But he starts talking points 1 day before they appear on CNN/FOX (which, btw, are essentially the same channel) or other main stream sources.

but i digress.
