Once again the Third World showing how much it has modernized in the last century. Luckily for this young woman she won't have to put up with years of discrimination, harassment and humiliation... because she's dead. Who the heck would want to move to Iran? Or even visit there for that matter?

Disturbing story and very typical of the culture. I've heard of several other stories like this. Supposively they will kill their own family members in the name of "honor" even if they are raped.

3rd world countries with no sense of right and wrong. I still say they need to be turned into glass parking lots. Sure would be better than watching a 17 year old girl get hanged for being raped.

If only such behavior was limited to 3rd world countries.

Poor countries have no monopoly on misogyny.

This is a wierd thing to put on our homepage. Seems it belongs in news of the wierd to me or the political.
