It would helpful to get an assesment of who can contribute to the servers on a regular basis....montly or quarterly and the dollar amount. You are welcome to specify what server(s) and how much.
But a commited response is a must. If you cant commit thats fine too.
Any dollar amount is ok, no matter how small, as long as its a committed amount. $5, $10, $15 ect.
I can do $25 bucks a month atm. I might be able to increase that amount later or I may give more at times, but I will commit to $25. The funds can be used for any server but I'd like to see the CS server in good standing

a decent amount of google ad clicking could probably pay for it. if everyone clicked once or twice a day you can easily get $100/month.

I think the big thing is that no one has to Commit any single dollar amount. Instead, we should aim to just have people commit to donations whenever they can. For example, yesterday, I put 7.85 into a paypal account from a checking account I'm waiting to close. More than likely, I will add another 5-10 bucks at least before the end of the month. If you think about it in those terms, the dollar amount is much more digestible. People are more likely to give two 10 dollar donations than one 20 dollar one.
Another way to look at it is just like any other club or organization. Most clubs have dues and crap, and they usually arent that high. You will also be supporting something that directly benefits you. You will also have control over how the money is spent and you can see exactly where the money is going. Honestly, its a no brainer to me, especially for a group of adults.
