View Full Version : New Tool Album!
New album from Tool 10,000 Days.
If it's released on time it's supposed to come out May 2nd, so in a month. I don't think it's a joke because it's listed on Allmusic.com and Amazon.

Hahah I think they are real....and I think Zero is right.....
Not to mention if you look at how the shot was taken her boobies must be pressed up close to the camera...maybe a foot away. She should have just put em on the glass damnit :p
w00t, new Tool album came out yesterday for those of you who still care about such things. Got mine today.
Packaging is pretty interesting, there's a built-in set of plastic lenses and a bunch of stereoscopic images in the booklet, very cool stuff. And of course the music is outstanding.

yes, its almost like buying the previous tool album, it sounds exactly the same.
That can be said of most bands you aren't into that much. Should they have made a country album? Of course it's going to be along the same lines as their other work, just a slightly different direction.
It does sound the same but some songs are a little different. I like the cd alot though....and the last track is uhhh....interesting. Neb and Sylver and I listend to it on their home system and it was odd
Oh and did someone say Monkay Killin?

The new Tool CD is awesome. I enjoyed it the many times I have listened to it. The album art is really cool as well. And it doesn't sound the same, it's different, especially the lyrics and what it is about. It has the Tool sound like all the CDs but they are all slightly different. I like where Tool is going.

I've listened to the new Tool album, and as per usual the band is outstanding with obvious signs of growth. Though, this album seems to pale in comparison to Lateralus in the initial insight it offered from the first listen. However, in defense of the album I haven't sat down and had an intimate listen as I've done with the previous, so I'm not sure there is an ongoing theme as there were in the others (as well as MJK's other work). One thing I've always liked about Tool is that they tend to try and make a real point, kind of like System of a Down.. I guess I'm still searching for that point... otherwise.. sonic bliss.

I haven't listened to TOOL in a long time. I guess I got kinda bored with them and the wierdness. As far as making a point: I try not to base my liking for music by there personal views. For that matter, I rarely listen to lyrics at all. If it has a good overal orchestration, it's good for me.
Of course, most of the music I listen to now rarely has lyrics.

I stopped listening to Tool after Aenima came out.
When your friends decide that your music choices when dropping acid are going to be Tool or Pink Floyd for hrs on end while your drifting in and out of insanity.
I dont listen to Tool or Pink Floyd anymore. Its like Shell Shock everytime I hear it.

you obviously arent speaking from any knowledge, but thanks for playing. *kisses*
they have a style that is their's, but there is a noticable change from album to album.. stop hating..

It's not a requirement, per se, but a bonus. Most everything I listen to, aside from ("New Age"), has lyrics, so sometimes what is said can make or break a song.. depending on the style. I listen to a lot of black/death/whatever metal, so initially I'm not even able to understand the vocalists, but can still enjoy the song as a whole.
