OAKLAND, Calif. - Marijuana-flavored lollipops, gum balls and chocolates with names such as Hydro and Sticky Icky Buds could be banned in Alameda County under an ordinance being considered by the Board of Supervisors.

The ordinance would ban goodies made by Corona, Calif.-based Chronic Candy, whose Web site promotes the tag line "every lick is like taking a hit" and features endorsements from pot-loving rapper Snoop Dogg and hotel heiress Paris Hilton.

The ordinance says the candy improperly influences teens and young adults and promotes illegal behavior.

I still like those chalky candy cigarettes. They certainly didnt influence me to smoke cigarettes. In 11th grade I smoked 2 marlboro reds and that influenced me enough - to never smoke tobacco cigarettes again.


Mary Jane ciggys, however, are a different beast AND I think it tastes good maybe not candy good but very flavorful, in fact, I may partake tonight after all the kiddies are in bed (no work until tuesday, 12 hour shift FTW)

Chocolate and weed go great together. Its also good in sauces.

You guys are just outta your minds. Its an herb. Herbs compliment foods.
Sure some nasty mexicali brick weed is going to taste like hell. It tastes like hell if you smoke it. Why would anyone smoke anything like that anyway, let alone eat it?

Fresh good herb has a very nice flavor and a wide variety between the different strands.

Maybe you dont like rosemary or basil. Maybe you dont like the herb marijuana. That I could understand but for everyone to say that all marijuana tastes bad is either bullshit or ignorance.
