Ordering through Steam or are you guys waiting for Retail? I'm more inclined to go Steam since more things will be available to you. The only drawback is that you have no media which sucks for reinstalls. But couldnt you backup your steam directory to a DVD-RW or something?

D/L it atm... kindly slow. The backup thing is something I didnt figure out yet. With windows, you would like to have a backup... just in case.

You'll have to download the games you want to play through Steam before you can play them. Simply having a HL install alone isn't enough anymore.

Bit the dust and got the silver through steam. Was flawless, I punched in my CC number and instant access to Source and everything else cept HL2 and DoD source! :biggrin:

physics are better than in doom3
FBs and HEs make you deaf for awhile now and you can shoot dead bodies to make 'em dance, can roll barrels down the ramp on dust, shit like that.. it's fuckin awesome

I also have from my own collection a Microsoft Intellipoint Optical Mouse, Altec Lansing 6.1 Dolby Digital 6 speaker set, D-Link Router, Logitech leet keyboard, and a Samsung 23" Flat Screen Monitor.

My CS Source Settings are running at all high levels, Everything on. Stress Test was 115 FPS, In game FPS was 80-100. Running my Vid settings at 1280X960, Mouse Filtering On, Mouse is at 5.7, Sound High, etc.

i just purchased it and got it all loaded up. i'll probably be checking it out later in the day.
