Well,

I got it going, after a new video card install. Got a 7800 GS for my APG slot.

The program is amazing. The detail in the graphics is very high. So far I have built two characters and think I will run with my second choice. Did a custom one Theifmage. I wanted to include as much magic as I could and still be a thief.

I am very impressed with the detail, both display and game.

Well.

My system went tits up. The new vidio card was running ok, and all of a sudden, "no signal". Comp does not boot and looks like Im down for a bit. I hate computers. I really got fucked on this one. The mother board is 1.5 years old, and all the slots on it do not exist any more. No more PCI and no more APG.

What kidn of Power supply do you have in there?

I'm sick over this. Just blew $400+ on the new card. Now the system does not boot, as in no vidio signal. I switched to my older PCI card for vidio but nothing. The hard drive light comes on for a bit but then goes off. The power supply is 480 W, so Im sure I had enough power. The air blowing out the back of the machine was rather warm.

Stupid thing is that the CPU is right above the APG slot and very close. I hope that the CPU was not fried.

When the system died all the fans went to max RPM.

The Rig is now in the shop where I got it from. There is 3 years warrenty on the motherboard. If I get a replacement it will mostlikely NOT be an APG board, so now I have an APG video card but no motherboard to plug it into. I think I will see if I can return the video card.

the game is QUITE involved....

Also, our friend David or "Bob0the0mighty" found out a way to get massive amounts of really good items...

if you would like to try... here is how you do it....

you will need a bow, and some arrows. the more arrows the better - it doesnt matter what kind.

pull back one arrow like you are about to shoot it, then hit TAB like you are going to switch weapons.

double click the arrows you already have equipped, you will get a message saying something like "you can not switch weapons while attacking" or something along those lines.

once you have gotten that message, drop an item (shift+click) you would like to see multiples of (I dont think weapons or quest items work...) but maybe like a Soul Stone for example....

once you have done all of this, just hit tab again, essentially what will happen is your arrow will hit the item you have dropped, and create as many replicas of that item, as you have arrows. (I know this is kind of hard to follow)

but follow these steps, and you'll see what I mean.

Taking advantage of Game issues is for losers. If you can only win by cheeting, what is the sence? If or when I find a loop hole in the game like that, I avoid it. Never have gotten a thrill from those things, I have always had the best experiance by doing it myself using legal game methods.

I am missing this game already, and I only got to play for about 8 hours. :( Comp is in the shop.

I agree sckoarn, however...

dont get me wrong about the game - it is still great. But I have begun to feel the need for a 'change' in the game...

also, I am one of those people who, if I discover something like this, I really dont abuse it. Not like I have the need for it, but I am only really using it to multiply items to sell.. and the soul stones. Granted, yes, soul stones are suppose to be somewhat of a rarity, but have you noticed you are pretty much TWICE as powerful with an enchanted weapon as apposed to when you do not?

Oh well, I am against most cheats/hacks myself... but this one I just couldnt pass up on.

I hope you get your comp back soon though, good luck with that.

Well they should patch it to fix the bugs. I think it's funny when you do it. I have yet to try it.

expoilting a bug in a multi player game should be a crime punishable by death but in a single player game the only person youre cheating is yourself.

I managed to exchange the APG card for a PCIe 7800 GT ....

Next it is just a case of getting a new motherboard and also hoping the other components are not behond. So far the shop says the Motherboard is to blame for all the problems I have been having with this system. I should have taken it back right away when it was not working perfect.

I think MSI has life time warrenty's on everything they sell including mother boards and video cards. Check them out if you you mobo shopping

So the new system, or fixed system is up no and running.

Got a Asus K8N32 SLI Delux, 2G of RAM and ended up with a 7800 GT.

Oblivan works well now.

I'm running a single radeon X1800XT... runs great. 3Ggigs of RAM... a little unecessary.
