When i play oblivion some times my carachter goes into slow motion, but if i close it and wait a few minutes then it will be normal agin and it does this in every vidoe settings any ideas??

ok having some trouble with a brush with deat it seems that the trolls just dont wnat to die even with the turpintine any sugestions?

Just finished that one myself, one turpentine per troll and then beat them down. The trick that did it for me was regen fatigue potions and attacking rapidly to keep them off balance so they couldn't use their power attack. Even then they were pretty tough. I haven't tried that with any other than my vamp shadownight it seems it would be fairly difficult with a caster type though.

I have not run into that one yet. Is it part of the main story line?

Also, how many of you are able to have an NPC actualy make it through, when you have to escort or they are part of the mission? I have a problem with that, seems almost easier to let them die and continue solo. I managed to get the guards through the Bruma Gate, in fact all three of them, but you could at least tell them to wait here. All the others seem to run to thier death as fast as then can. I have some problems with that part of the AI, simply lacks any "I" content.

people who follow you, in my opinion - are pretty useless.

Being the "grand champion" you get a little boy who wants to follow you around everywhere. I brought him in to the oblivion gate, and he was dead in a matter of seconds.

If you are the head of the assasins guild (as I am) you can get people to follow you around who are part of the guild. These people are a little bit better for they usually are able to walk around 'invisible' and I suppose it could be useful. Again, I brought this person in to the obilivion gate, and he died within a matter of seconds as well.

as far as your problem FLcracker.. I couldnt tell you what may be causing that. A patch may work, but that almost seems as if your system is running low on resources, and its slowing itself down.

How much RAM do you have? Type of video card?

runing 6800 gts in sli and i have 2 gigs of ram
