anyone know of any good online rpgs i can download?

What type? Are you looking for console or pc? You can find a good emulator just about anywhere and start playing the Final Fantasy series, Breath of Fire, Ogre Battle (more tactical than RPG), the Mario RPG game and many more. For PC you could play Guild Wars... I'm sure Chuckachu could use someone in the same time zone to run around with.

you cant download it online but you can buy the game in the store

I almost picked up factions the other day...

but I still want to finish GW before I play factions.

I am over in that 'island' in the game.. I would imagine that is nearing the end of it. SOME ONE PLEASE HELP ME... then I'll play factions with you all :cool:

Do you remember that? We went farming somewhere in those crazy 'caves' or what have you... and I kept dozing off. Finally I just passed out for about 2 minutes, and I woke up and everyone was gone... I was standing alone.

Thunder came back to my rescue though :cool:

I have not finished the game with any of my old characters either.

I think I have 1 or 2 of them on the fire island

but that can be done later

go get factions

you can always come back and finish that part....even with your new character :D

All the good online RPGs are always pay to play (monthly fees), and the ones that aren't kinda get boring after a short period of time (lack of updates/new content). I just stick to my console and single player RPGs for now until the next bomb ass make me stay up all night playing like a zombie MMORPG comes out. I still want to re-install WoW or find a good server emulator(to play for free) but I have resisted the temptation thus far. Currently downloading the torrent of Hero's of Might and Magic V, and the new Sim City "City Life". I'll let you all know how they are when the downloads are done, eta 3 hours. :biggrin:

I'm not promoting quitting. You dont loose your character when you buy factions. All your characters are still there.

In fact I bought another copy of factions yesterday b/c I had used all 6 six of my character slots and wanted to build a monk but didnt wish to delete any of my old characters.

I bought the first GW for a friend of mine about a year ago and she never used it so I got her user id and pw. I also had some crap I needed to return to best buy so I just used the credit to exchange the stuff I didnt want for the Factions copy.

Now I have 2 accounts and 12 character slots. LOL

But again, you dont quit. Your characters are still exactly where you left them. They will just now have the ablility to travel between the two worlds and you get 2 new character slots.
