Question for some of you guys;
currently in my office we have a cable mode, and a wireless router with 4 people hardwired to the router and several wireless units.
With this one program we use some of the wireless clients take way too long sifting through all the data (about 150K prospective customers)..anywho, we have a data entry person now and their pc takes too long cause it is wireless, so what I had in mind was taking one of the wired clients to the router and making that plug go into a switch and then have that person who was wired and his assistant both wired off the switch, can this work..heres a diagram of what i want..lemme know

I have come to love and hate wireless, it acts up too much..but i have made so many crazy settings adjustmentsa to out network its insane, i think i am on 3 fulls weeks without a "real" problem. >knock on wood<
You can use as many switches as you want to branch out the network. Just a couple of things: The cables shouldn't be longer than 100m ( ~300ft ) and don't connect your network up to produce any loops, make sure it's what they call a star topology. Other than that you can use as many as you need.
