Train

So I don't know if this has happened to anybody else, but i just had my computer freak out in Train. This isnt the first time either. It's only happened at train, and it's right when I die. The screen will freeze, and the sound will repeat, like a broken record. Any ideas?

Hmm.. I've had a similar instance happen when my comp has frozen, or I get a serious lag spike (timing out). As far as it happening specifcally on Train.. hasnt done it to me. I dont know much about what you can/cant do with CS... but perhaps try removing the map (in whatever directory it may be located in), and letting it automatically download the next time it comes around?... but at least I know its not the map that is the problem :doubt:

that happened to me today at least 4 times on train only. also I lag when running thru the water at t/spawn.

Crap that such a shame b/c train is such a great looking map. I have not even had a chance to play it on the server yet :cry:

But if its got glitches, it needs to come off the server until we can get it resolved

Train is the pwnzors and I havent had a problem with it. If it is glitching we will remove and replace though. Dont need faulty equipment.

someone had this happen to them twice yesterday, he came back both times and said he froze up right when he died.

I've only had it happen when the bomb kills me.

If it continues I would pull it L1ve. Don't need people saying crap about the server being broken or something.

I've always hated train. Never had a chance to play the new one on the server though but I'm sure it blows just like the old one.

i dont mind the map itself, alot of people say its too dark, but i think it just makes it different from all the other maps, but it sucks to have to shut down and reboot twice in one game. i was wondering if it was jsut me, but more peopl keep saying it. the next time we're on train, ask around and hae people say if this happens to them too.



plus is there any way to fix it?

All the Custom maps like Train, Inferno, and Nuke are simply Custom maps or in beta form. Any non valve released map is a beta map or custom map. I havent had a problem with the train map, but I have asked it to be switched out with another map because people are having problems with it. I like train personally. The only problem I have with the new train is that you cant move underneath the trains. In the old train you could hide and move around the trains while watching the bomb in the train yard and the entrance and exit points to the train yard. Thats the only downfall I see with the new train map.
