We have had high speed internet access for almost 10 years and all that time we have had basic cable (about 70 channels). They have never charged us anything additional for the cable service so our bill was only 49 dollars a month.
I guess the box was audited because our cable tv is now gone.
If I want my basic service back, its going to cost me another 50 bucks a month
What a bummer :(

And I guess I have to make an appointment to have it hooked back up. Not sure how many days that will take, meanwhile nothing is being recorded on my tivo :evil:


I've been on hold with their "costumer service" line for 29 minutes. Someone just picked up the line and immediately hung up on me!!!

its been down for 4 days now


I went ahead and called for an install on saturday

guess I should just keep in mind that I have saved over $6,000 in cable fees over the last 10 yrs.

Now I'll just be paying my fair share like all the other chumps.

I never stole it per se, they just never billed me for it.

Twice I tried to get it corrected in the past and they never fixed the billing issue. At that point I figured it was their problem rather than mine.

having all access cable is dangerous.
i think i've watched 5 movies, 4 comedy specials and at least 5 other programs.
i've been glued to the idiot box for nearly 24 hours.

lol

i have not gotten jack crap done all weekend.

i went ahead a bit the bullet and got all the premium line ups and the on demand features. there is way too much crap on tv to watch.

i even went and bought myself a sweet ass high def. lcd to enjoy it on

ha!

i'm sure the novelty will wear off soon, as everything new does, but I might have to just unplug that damn thing until halloween is over.
