View Full Version : EVE Online Doomsday Weapon Activated

Hah, this is so bad ass.

Something interesting is happening in Eve Online, the massive space MMORPG: the largest alliances in the game, Band of Brothers and Ascendant Frontier, have declared war on each other, sucking 9,000 players into the game's first truly massive PvP conflict. Huge battles are taking place for entire systems. And all in a game I once declared the world's prettiest spreadsheet.

Most interestingly, Ascendant Frontier pulled out the big guns in their war against Band of Brothers. In fact, they pulled out the biggest gun, the Doomsday Weapon, which looks like a sort of solar-system sized nuke. But even more hilarious is that apparently, Ascendant Frontier missed, mostly killing a good chunk of their own guys.

I would take 20 of thier active members over the big weapon.

It is cool that such big battles can take place. I will have to look at the star map and see where all the ships are being blown up.

Can you imagin the organization that is going on with a 3500+ group member count??

There is a 14 day free trial. Read some of the previous posts there is a link to the setup site.

Get into Caldari space when you do so you can come hang out and not be across the galaxcy.


They could have set this device off on the edge of a system and effectively only hitting half of it. Thier guys were on the wrong half?? Also I am not sure how the thing is targeted, you may be outside that system and launch it from several away.

BTW, Larynth has joined up with the Corp now, so one more GNG onboard :cool:
