A head's up:
The last payment to our server caused an over draft. Our current account balance is negative 102 dollars.
I will not let the account sit in a negative balance (as it could cost me my job) so I will pay it up to a zero balance. But we need to fund the servers heavily if we wish to keep them. There are also other yearly expenses for the website, host and forums that will be due in the next couple of months.

oh and about the server being empty, get in and sit there for a minute people WILL join i do it almost every night and we always have a good amount of flow it just takes a min. to get it going.... the only reason servers get populated is because of frequent play, if OUR OWN clan doesnt even want to play in it then DO NOT expect people to show up.

wow, thanks phenix
As far as what happened, it was my fault for not keeping a tab on the balance. I knew we had around $150 to $170 in the account and then we had a few $20 donations just recently. I've had my head so far up my own ass with all these house projects that I didnt check the actual balance before the account was swept for the server fees ($287).
The paypal account had $219 in it, since that would not cover the fees for the servers, it drafted the money from my GNG bank account which had a balance of 35 cents. The account was only established to link to the paypal.
My bank paid the full amount of the charge even though I didnt have the money and charged me an overdraft fee.
So currently the account is $321 in the negative.
I just transferred the $219 balance from the paypal account to my bank account and I will deposit a check tomorrow to bring the account back to a zero balance.
But that does leave us at a zero balance and we do have other fees coming up soon that are not related to the server. I think whether we drop or keep the servers is a legitimate discussion that needs to take place over the next couple of months (the servers are paid up until the end of Dec). But I know we do not want to loose our host, domain or website under any circumstance so it is vital that we pad the GNG fund to keep the community alive.
Thanks to everyone for the continued support.
BTW: I ran over a tire on the interstate today doing about 80 miles an hour. I lost my front and rear bumper in the process and I have yet to determine if there is any damage to the under side of the car
Its always something

I am not entirely sure who has all the control or whatever for everything now. As far as I know its all scattered around. I know that support for the forums is optional although we forfeit updates. The website should only be like $100 bucks for the year. I figure if you have around $150ish, that should be good for domain name renewals, forums, and website. WHen I did the domain names, they were for 2 years. I'll have to get on this with the collective powers that be and see what we can do.

Sammie,
If you call your bank and ask them to remove the overdraft fee they more than likely will and you can get that money back.especially if its the first time that has happend, it's a "courtesy" that alll banking institutions will do for their fine fine customers.

unfortunately since i am employed by the bank they do not extend that courtesy to me :(
getting a fee removed on an employee account is like an act of congress and I'd rather suck up the 32 dollar charge than call attention to myself.
negative account balances can literally cost me my job. they dont take that kind of crap lightly

I hardly rent. But the Xbox 360 allows you to download demos. You can also play these "arcade" games that cost anywhere from $5 to $10 a pop. I do play a lot of games but they aren't all of the $60 dollar variety. Plus, I also trade games in when I am done as long as it's still worth it. Only drop maybe $80-$100 a month on Xbox games, MAYBE.
