my suggestion is never to by a boxed rig esp. for gaming
if you have to go boxed, get an alienware
but be prepared to pay for it. they're not cheap

no they are not
but if you dont know how to perfectly build one then you should wrangle Santa or the chanukah bush into getting you an Alienware, they work flawlessly.

Boxed rigs are fine and in my experience Dell is better than most. I had a very bad experience with Alienware, others have had good experiences. You can buy one as cheap as you can build it, if you pay attention. However, if you want something to do exactly what you want, build it yourself.

It's not that bad, really. Unless you beat your processor against your mobo.

The only thing I've ever been nervous about is clipping the cpu fan onto the board. It takes so much force I'm affraid I'll break something.

One thing you might concider is the XPS build it yourself. You choose how much of the shit you want to buy from Dell and you provide the rest and set it up. I think they way overprice the shit, but if you must have an XPS, this might be a little cheaper way to go.

I guess having a cock that's two meters high means either A: you have really short legs, or B You're just a big dick.
Seriously though...I forgot about the different measurement tables. I just thought that was some wierd Irish saying.

The Dell PC is not 2 meters high. Are you on crack? Maybe you asked an American salesman who refuses to adapt a measurement system created by a megalomaniac.
A standard dell 410 case is about:
H: 17.5" (44.45 cm)
W: 6.6" (16.76 cm)
D: 17.5" (44.45 cm)
Weight: 28 lbs. (12.7 kg)
That's an average tower PC.
The 210's are
H: 12.5" (31.5 cm)
W: 3.7" (9.4 cm)
D: 14.5" (36.5 cm)
That's a small tower pc.
The 710s are a few cm taller, wider, and deeper.

The metric system was created in France if i'm not mistaken.
The rest of the world doesn't seem to have a problem using the metric system, i'd say we're the ones with megalomania.

Metric is much easier, we just aren't used to it.
Just like the Mac vs PC kind of conflict.
