what sort of music do you guys listen to? This last week ive been hooked on the killers

Usually whatever strikes my fancy which is a wide variety of things, some indy rock and alternative such as Minus the Bear and Interpol, Chili Peppers, Evaline, Mutemath.. some harder stuff but nothing much past some of A Perfect Circle, metallica occationally, and Velvet Revolver. Dance rock can be really fun: Check out The Rapture, and The Moving Units. Classics are good with Pearl Jam, James Taylor, the beetles, Oasis. I have a couple of I guess "Emo" bands but I really loathe the culture behind that and even the few bands I like get whiney and depressing after a while haha: Engine Down, From Autumn to Ashes, and Armor for Sleep. Underground rap is good to me too with Jedi Mind Tricks, Deltron, Aesop Rock, hate that mainstream stuff unless I'm at a party I guess then I can live with it. I like classical too with Rachiminov and Berlioz being a couple of my favorites.

Country can go to hell.

New band I found recently called The Cat Empire from
Britain, very cool and have this song called "The Rhythm" that is just awesome I reccomend checking out a couple of songs of theirs and dont give up on them the first go round..Theres more but that gives you an Idea that what I like is a wide spectrum and not really centered in one place.



(PS: Don't buy the new Killers album, my friend wrote a review for his paper and said it blows: all sounds the same and not as good as the first...you have been warned.)
