or if rex grossman breaks a leg... literally and norton comes in and is a super freak like last year and gets 5 touchdowns to mushin or berrian... im keeping my fingers crossed...not

Yeah, you would need a good 40 points to beat me if Grossman didnt play. The way I look at it is that whatever points your receivers get will be nullified because that would mean that Grossman was passing to them so I would get points also. I don't think a running back and a defense are good enough for you to snatch up this win. Only time will tell though.

but.. as i see it this year the quarterbacks dont score half as much i mean look at philip rivers stats 300 something yards, 2 or 3 touchdowns i forget and only 18 points? i got alot of 30-40 point games from both my qbs last year (i had peyton manning and hasselbeck on the bench) so what gives?

anyways, yahoo league is primarily based on touchdowns. yards matter, but not as many as they should. next year we can balance it out more effectively, but for now, just know that you need players that score touchdowns.


for example... look at tiki barber. he had 227 total yards yet only received 11.85 points.

the guy he faced this week had 146 yards and a touchdown... and scored 13.30 points.

you just have to adjust your players for sure-touchdown guys.

Last I checked touchdowns were harder to come by than yards. I think it's balanced just fine. I also don't see where you are pulling your numbers from. The box score shows both Barber and Dunn with similar stats. The one that stands out is the yards per carry.

I don't like all the extra point.. we should just get points for scores... yes we would ahve 14-28 games but hey thats football... you don' get point for yards in the NFL

ar, i pulled my stats right off of the matchup page. i dont know who had who but they were both right there. all im saying is that if a guy runs for so many yards it should count for something. same as carries.
