I Want a Music Creation Software Application

Was wondering if any of you know of a good product that will alow me to make music. Not Rap, hip hop, Rock or any of that modern stuff, Classical. So the application would need to be able to generate all the Orcastra instruments and what not. I spotted one but it is like $699 to purchase.

Figured I would check with the group, as one of you may be into this kind of stuff.

I just don't know how to get it from CD onto the PC (in an installable state). If you can tell me how to do that, I can copy the disks and let you DL it. That would also help Phenix too, since I was suppose to get him a copy about three months ago.
