Get it! I have recently learned that if you reboot the computer without closing your browser window(s) the next time you open Firefox it will ask you if you want to "restore the previous session". This feature is absolutely amazing.
I was in the process of installing various anti-virus and anti-spam programs for evaluation purposes and, naturally, I had a few firefox windows open with multiple tabs in each. I accidentally opted to restart the computer on one of my installs and became quite angry when the computer started rebooting. I was quickly overcome with that warm fuzzy feeling when I went to start Firefox again and it basically asked me if I wanted to resume what I was doing. I selected yes and I was right back where I was before the reboot.

I thought it was weird that , when I checked for updates in Firefox, it said there were none, but I had v1.87 and I knew v2.0 was already out. Hrmmm...

2.0 isn't an "update" to 1.5, that's why it doesn't show up. Just like 1.5 wasn't an update to 1.0, but they didn't have the update feature until 1.5 anyway. You have to go download it again, but it's worth it.
Also, AR pointed out the restore saved session thing, you can also open up a tab you closed. If you go to History -> Recently Closed Tabs you can bring them back if you inadvertantly closed them.
I also figured out the other day, if you have a bunch of tabs open like I always do, and there are too many to fit on the window at once, instead of using the little left and right buttons to scroll through the tabs you can just hover over the tabs and use the scroll wheel to move it back and forth, pretty cool.

Sure can. Just DL it and install. It will even import your bookmarked pages. It does have some different terms for some of the same features, such as the right click menu.

Cool thing too that's installed by default, that I was made aware of on these pages is a little diddy called "IE Tab", which apparently was always available, but I never knew about till v2.0. It allows you to go to pages that you used to have to use IE on such as windowsupdate and shit. That used to be my biggest gripe about FF, but it's gone now.
BTW, what skin do you guy's use? I use the NOIA skin, and it's been brought to ff 2.0 with NOIA 2.0. I think it's the slickest skin out there.

I've been using LittleFox since Firefox 1.0. It takes up very little room on the screen, I don't really like flashy UI's.

I've also noticed that it seems to be spell checking everything for me. In these forums, on Gmail, pretty much anything I type. If anything is spelled wrong it puts a red dashed line underneath, then right click it and it shows the correct spelling, or suggested spellings. I've added a few new words to the dictionary, so they will be recognized next time I write them, like GNG, and Phenix. Nice feature. I give it a thumbs up

I couldn't be happier with FF 2.0. Especially since learning about the IEtab plugin.

Apparently this plugin has always been available but I only found out about it with the release of v2.0 It allows you to use pages that only work in IE by using the IE browser renderer for only those pages that you select. (kinda like the latest version of netscape, except it doesn't suck) Click "tools" "IEtab options" to set it up.

And why is that? I hate when people say something is great or something sucks without any kind of reason.

Sweet...I just noticed that if you highlight a word or phrase, right click, there's an option to Google for that item and it automatically opens a new tab for it.
I don't know if that was available in previous versions. I don't highlight too many words on websites and right click on them. So...Sweet.
