So with that new movie Flags of Our Fathers coming out soon, the Iwo Jima Monument has been getting talked about more than usual. And I just found out today, that one of the guys in the monument (and of course in the movie) is Rene Gagnon, a Marine CPL. He also happens to be my third cousin. ( my great grandmothers nephew).
Weird.
