.....Has consumed me the past three days... I can't do anything constructive until I beat this game!!

Graphics are the best thing I've seen on a PS2 before, combat system is new and faster paced, plot is very cool taking place in Ivalice from FF Tactics (basically a prequel that's not a prequel to FFT), creative ability gaining system.

I'm in love with the game right now, and I probably am not making too much sense right now so excuse the grammar, I need to make up some work and sleep I've been putting off haha.

Seriously though it's and awesome game...and I really need to shower

it is an awesome game.. I love the FF series.

Unfortunately, the game pissed me off last night though. (mostly my fault for not saving) I dont know where everyone is in the game, but I spent forever setting up new licenses, gambits, party formation, etc etc etc to my party... I went out and fought my way to the tortoise only to be ruthlessly beaten down by a giant turtle and lose an hour and a half worth of work! :evil:

but yes... great game, great graphics :)

haha no kiddin, I save alll the time in that game and get really cautious when I cant save for some time.

You talkin about the tortoise in the mines of Buj? I havent done him still, he's a bitch and I'm pretty sure the only way to take him out is come powerful casters and one tank to take all his shit. I'm on this damn Wyrm right now in the of the Viera but his status effects KICK MY ASS. So I'm running around levving up and getting cash to buy more gear

PS: Guests that break mezz piss me off dammit.

PPS: I hate fucking running to regen mana, I look like a dog chasing its tail regening mana right before a big fight hahaha. I really wish I could regen while sitting still

ya, I am also addicted. I'm headed to the imperial city atm. Somewhere in salikawood. *sigh* still need another 56k until I can get all the l337 equipment in this area. Back to the grind!

so where is everyone at on this game?

I know I am kind of nearing the end.. but I'm sure there are possibly a few of you out there *cough*JB!*cough* who may have already beaten the game...

I've actually surpisingly lost interest in the game for some reason. It began to annoy me how I feel as if 90% of the game is just levelling up. I dont mind staying in an area every once in a while to get my characters 'up to par.' But it annoys me that every new area I seem to reach in the game, my characters suddenly become obsolete (mind you these are my 'strong' characters at that). It just bothers me how I can go from defeating a boss one minute, and the next... my entire team can be crushed by 1 or 2 normal enemies... O_o

Well you know I'm at Dr. Sid. Which in all I think I fucked myself. I guess I'll have to grind alittle bit more on the imperials for a bit more before attempting to fight Dr. Sid anymore. The game really hates me and I never get any good Quickening combos. I guess I should have lev'd up a bit more before entering the Lab but I was doing really good until right before Sid all the Imperials come running out of no where and own me... lol

Thats exactly what I mean. The game takes these huge jumps from area to area. You'll be GODLY in one area, and then get your face pwned in at the next...

its still good game as a whole, graphics, etc... but I dont like spending most of my time just levelling up... monotonous gameplay FTL.

I was getting a feeling that would happen in the Imperial City so I went back and have been killing marks religiously. Well....that was before I gave it to my little brother to take home so I wouldn't be distracted during finals hahaha. I'll get back on that bitch when I get home for break.
