Just a few black and whites (and one color). I'll add some more color and festive pics soon.

Im limited to 2megs even though most of these are around 6.5 megs so the larger image attachments are not as signficant as i would like. : \

I'm not happy with the results of this one. Too much contrast? Too heavy on the highlights or saturation?
Any feedback would be welcomed....on this one or any others

The second to last one has to much dead space. Unless you're going for some sort of psychological effect there's no reason for it. The lighting is ok but could of been improved by bouncing the flash off the ceiling. You have an in shot light source throwing light up but his hair is not lit and that's what feels weird about it. That was my immediate thought; "why is his hair so dark?" Looking closer I can tell you were either sitting or he's much taller than you. The subject, cabinet/closet behind him is taller than the picture and lamp in the background which gives the picture a very dominant feel to me. You could find it out of balance. ( going back to the picture, this last sentence may be wrong, kept it in just for thought)

The last photo is soft, focus was on the pillows and jacket and not the eyes.

yes the focus should have been on the eyes on the last one. I do kind of like the empty space on the sides. I cropped some of it, but left most of it there. I think it fits with the expression.
I did bounce the light but I had to do it off the wall rather than the ceiling because the ceilings are probably around 25 feet high.

I'm still trying to learn my camera and flash. Its been so long since I've used a regualr 35mm that its like learning it all over again. And I've never used an external flash before.

Comments and critques are much welcomed and encouraged.

thank JW :)

I will have more images coming soon.

I took a bunch of wide angle and macro shots over the past week. I just need to tweak them in PS.

I will also be on the photo hunt when the 300mm and 85mm arrive later in the week.

Now I just need to shake a few hundred thousand dollars out of some people this week so I can have enough production to start paying some of this off :p

Credit is a wonderful thing.....so is commission based salary! :D

Hurray for cash!
