The game Gothic

Its not a multiplayer game, but I started playing the 1st one back in 03' and got hooked.

(It is really popular in Germany and among hard-core RPGer's, or thats the rumors.)

I am just wondering if anyone else has played this game before and maybe want to swap hints and tips or overall just want to bs about the game. I just bought Gothic 2 (for the second time) and realized 3 is already out. I was hoping to get some feedback from somebody who might have played it.

(this is what people with no gaming internet capabilites are limited to..... I definitely miss the GW and CS:Source GNG pwnage...)
