ok I dug up a pic. Its not the best but it was my first shoot with my macro the night i got it and I was in very poor light. Regardless I think its good. It definately shows the macro capability. This is an irish i took from the yard right before the frost hit. Its a jpeg image.
And the images is only about 40% of its actual image size due to bandwidth....greedy bandwith bastards at photobucket. :p

Depth of field can be tricky using a macro when using the lens wide open (which I had to do in the low light setting).
I am going to play around with stacking images which is a technique many use to have more control of their desired results.
