Hey Sammie or anyone else who might know, I am looking to by a a good digial SLR. I want it to be good foor sporting events and easy to use. I know a little about photography but don't need a camera that is fully adjustible (miy wife has to use it) any suggestions?

NIKON FOR LIFE!!!!

Get a Nikon D50 it is easy to use and I looooove mine. It was my first DSL-R also.

full framed or cropped?

how much do you have to spend and how many and what type of lenses do you need?

outdoor or indoor sports? the sport lenses can be very expensive.

Based on popularity I would say Canon EOS 400D, but any of the entry level "consumer" DSLR's are nice. I've got an Oly E500 that takes nice pictures without much fuss, with or without photography knowledge, but so do all the others.
