HL2: Episode 1

Ok so I love Half-Life and the story behind it and I have been thinking about buying Ep.1 from Steam but do you guys think it's worth it? I'm interested to see what happens next in the story but I wasnt sure if maybe there was somewhere it could be DL'd from going around steam without having to get too computer saavy.

It takes 6-7 hours to beat. It costs the same as a 2 hour movie.

I don't know, I just couldn't get into it. I've tried to play it a few times, but it just seemed to get really monotonous. I always loose interest shortly after the river boat level.

Soo I played through and first reaction is "wow that was a lot of scary shit and shocking flashlight OH FUCK I FELL THROUGH THE FLOOR AGAIN!"

It was a good time overall, damn scary in the begining, moreso than I would have expected. The citadel part and fighting zombies afterwards was some heart pumping stuff. But...I'm still very anxious to get OUTSIIIIDE of city 17 though....kinda dampered it when I couldnt even see much past the city.
