my web space is built using a combination of CSS and HTML. My privacy page is driving me nuts and I want to make a HTML only page out of it. The problem comes in when I try to format it....that is it wont format.

Here is the page:

NWYSP (http://nwysp.smugmug.com/gallery/2435770)

I have 2 photos on the page, left and right. I know how to format for one pic, but am haveing trouble alternating the photos. I have Front Page and wanted to use it to jsut write the code for me but I cant get the text to wrap around the photos. I can get the text above and below but it refuses to put the text along side.

Its probably something stupid that I am doing wrong but any assistance would be great. In front page I have been going to format-->position. Is that not the right tool?

If I am understanding you correctly then your page works as you want it to in Firefox and IE7. The top picture is on the left with text to the right and bottom. The bottom picture is to the right with text on the left and bottom. There is a line break above the bottom picture.

If this isn't how you want it, maybe you need to post an example of what you do want... I dunno.

FrontPage is severely outdated. The latest version is 4 or 5 years old. FrontPage has always created some ugly code and I wouldn't recommend using it for a production site. You also need to make sure you're testing your page in various browsers so that it will be compatible. You don't want someone using Firefox to stumble across your site only to find that it doesn't work.

Actually, the page listed is using a combination of CSS and HTML but the pictures are clickable and I wanted to eliminate that by by-passing the host code and useing a HTML only script. I suppose the way it is now is just fine but the fly out boxes are driving me nuts, but maybe its just me.

What I was trying to get across is that in front page, I cant get the text to wrap at all. I get text above and below the picture but it will not allow the text beside the picture. Let me see if I can create a visual. I have say 8 lines of text in a paragraph. I have chosen to insert a pic at the 4th line of the paragraph. Now I have 4 lines of text, a pic of 3 inches and 4 lines of text under the pic. Its the big ole white blank space beside the pic I would like to fill with text.

Well the page is fine I suppose. I have some other stuff I should be working on and might revisit this later. Thanks anyway.
