This is but one page on a whole site dedicated to showing what bullshit Scientology is. http://www.cs.cmu.edu/~dst/Narconon/science.htm
I would assume you can really only pick apart a newer religion because there is really no reliable paper trail on the older ones, aside from the bible or koran, which people will buy anything from and attribute it to "Faith".

In Scientology it has been discovered that mental energy is simply a finer, higher level of physical energy. The test of this is conclusive in that a thetan "mocking up" (creating) mental image pictures and thrusting them into the body can increase the body mass and by casting them away again can decrease the body mass. This test has actually been made and an increase of as much as thirty pounds, actually measured on scales, has been added to, and subtracted from, a body by creating "mental energy." Energy is energy. Matter is condensed energy.
[Hubbard, Understanding the E-Meter, p.50]
Wow....This guy really believes what he said too.... So in his thought process, I can make myself 30 lbs heavier just by thinking real hard about it....Thats Awesome! I am going to go mentally workout and work some Traps and Lats out while I am playing XBox
On the Purification program, findings seem to bear out that there is a factor related to radiation that produces the greatest exudation of it and that is the sweating itself.
Radiation is apparently enormously water-soluble as well as water removable. According to researchers, one merely has to take a hose to a building surface or a road to wash the radiation off of it. This factor is well known to defense trained personnel.
[Hubbard, Clear Body Clear Mind, p. 20]
I have found something new to do on my day's off now, I am going to spend the next week or 2 compiling information Hubbard clearly put no thought and all imagination into, then I am going down to the Scientology's office in Tampa and telling them to explain it to me in a way that makes any kind of medical or proven scientific sense.
And I will dare them to give themselves radiation poisoning and sweat it out of their systems before they die:badgrin:

**EDIT** In spite of what it looks like below, I have nothing against Christians. STUPID Christians, maybe. Christians as a whole, negative.
If you want something infuriatingly religious to laugh about.. might I suggest
Conservapedia. [http://www.conservapedia.com/].
Picture if you will... A wiki-esque setup. Except without us leftie "contamination". Allow me to get an example;
Taken from the Theory of Evolution article http://conservapedia.com
"Evolutionists have had over 140 years to find a transitional fossil and nothing approaching a conclusive transitional form has ever been found - only a handful of highly doubtful examples of transitional fossils exist. [11][12] Distinguished anthropologist Edmund R. Leach declared, "Missing links in the sequence of fossil evidence were a worry to Darwin. He felt sure they would eventually turn up, but they are still missing and seem likely to remain so." [13]"
That isn't the best.. but it is FULL of infuriating mis-truths and blatant lies which completely and utterly insult the scientific community. I once spent a DAY reading the hilarious passages to spew forth from that site. Amusing (that is, if you aren't Christian)
