Hi All :)

I'm an ubernoob here who's just joined the Kin on LOTRO... hailing from the other side of the globe... so watch out for my crazy hours during the week.

I'm also still learning all the toon names people are playing with.. so dont be too afraid when I get really confused :D Thank the stars I've only got one char running right now.

IRL I'm a systems guy who makes beer in his spare time.

It's been so cool running around with those I put on /follow.. (you know who you are).. great bunch of people... thanks so much for the invite.

Now now Thunder, I haven't given into the darkside yet... leaving CS was hard enough.

Yes but CS never has been and never will be a "team" or group game unless played at a highly competitive level. It really boils down to a group of individuals all trying to kill the other side before their allies do. DoD, TFC are more team games. MMOs are the pinnacle of team based play; which is why is pains me so to not be in them.

As for getting use to the names, I have my own problems there. So many names in these environments, it can get testy on the memory.

Where have you been, I am not sure you have been invited to the kinship yet. Please get in contact with one of us when your on.

Tcal is my main He is Minstril.
Alayta is my alt She is a Robber.

All other GNG members are Officers and will be able to invite you to the Kinship.

Don't know about Phenix, but for me...

During the week, usually around 8pm - midnight (sometimes later).
On the weekends, I'll start earlier and finish later :)
On Windfola. Pretty sure its around 16 hours time difference to most of you guys and gals.

When I'm alone during the week, I'll mine and help out some people with smaller quests (mostly ones I've done)... always looking for some good people this side of the world.

I'm saving the more difficult fellows quests so I can do them with Kinfolk over the weekends.

Sparthir (which reminds me.. I have to get him to sign up here) and myself I have taken the pepsi challenge for this weekend.. we not going to sleep. :)

Oh yeah...there once was a time when I played counter-strike till the early hours of morning. Then, for some reason, I made a family. Now, if I'm up past midnight, (more so during the work week) I get grumpy and want to go to sleep.

I'm gonna have to stock up on coffee for this weekend, if we're going to have one of those. :wink:

And I thought it was about time I post somethime. Just wanted to say what an awesome Kinship this is and so enjoy the fellowship. I had just left THE WATCH do to lack of chat and groupage. And was invited to group with you guys. I was SO impressed with you all I had to ask to join and cold not be happier. As you can tell I am a bit of an adventurer and love to sneak into areas much higher then me just to see what is there. I am on usually evey nite and please do not be shy to ask for help on anything if you need it. Love to fellowshp and help. See ya all in the RL of Middle Earth
