Newby night/recruiting campaign

Skoarn and I agree that there should be a night of the week where we can all get on, and level our alts. The purpose of such a night would be to A: Help each other through the growing pains. and B: To recruit more members. It would be more appealing to potential kinsmen if they see a group running around together. We need to be more active in our recruitment as we're all getting close to max level, as well as raiding.

This is not an anonymous vote. It could very well be possible to have more than one night. If that is the case, we'll need to be able to see who and when each of us are available.

You may choose more than one option if desired.

Also, this should be a prime time session, so we can be sure that everyone will be on.

As I'm sure this will happen, after we have an idea as to what nights will be more popular, we may have to have another vote to narrow it down to one evening.

Well, that's quite alright, as this vote isn't really for anyone that is not already playing. I mean, obviously, how could you have an alt if you don't even have a main?

Vic, I am sure you can get a trial, and if you go to the site, it will tell you if it is compatable with your OS.

I think Sunday is a very good day to play alts and recrute. Sunday seems to be the busiest.

I'm up for any day you guys decide. I love to play my alts and have met many great people because of them.

I would suggest that it not be on a Friday night or Saturday as thats the only time some of our members get to play with us as a big group. Thats just my opinion. Sundays sound like a nice possibility.

Looks like my ISP has been forced to upgrade some routers over the pass 24hrs. This means my connection issues should be resolved.

Bizzle, Bizzle, Bizzle,... sounds like a great name for a Hobbit.

I'm pretty much good for any day, but prefer it not be a weekend. As stated by Zzala, the weekends are pretty busy for us getting our group quests done. Unless, of course, it was during the day hours.

We need to start the "omg vic is paying rent now and has no money to buy games" fund. Now that I pay rent for the next three months, i'll be living by the paycheck i think. I'll have to wait for the first month to go by and see if I can afford it. The $15 or whatever a month isn't a problem, it's the $50.00 for the game that's the problem. But this game does look pretty cool, hopefully I will be able to join soon.

Is this game more of a grind (i.e Everquest) or more grouping oriented or what?

It's VERY group oriented. Seems like once you get past level 35, the majority of quests are group quests.

Having a big brother or sister with the alt group I think is a good thing..(when the alt group has hit a brick wall)

Personally I think it demonstrates the team/cooperative nature of the kin, and also lets them know we have a little muscle tucked away. Just that people get to see it, before asking about it :)

Hopefully, it does not attract players the kin would rather not welcome.

Ok, so the vote is over (for a few days now) and the obvious winner is Wednesday. There really doesn't need to be a second vote to narrow it down, because I think it will probably be the same 5 that voted before.
