The LotR faction of GNG is preparing for Raids within the game. You may be here because you were directed here or saw our advertising.
The plan is to provide a central place for organizing raids. Our group is too small numbering 7 core members and several others. That will not do for a raid encounter. We have attended some randomly formed raids and found the success rate to be very low. The organization of the group to be non-existent. It seemed that not only did the organizer not know what to do but neither did the participants. It is our main goal to succeed in defeating the games raid encounters and have fun while doing it. It is our goal to provide instructions (found in other posts in this forum) for group and class activities / functions, so that we can achieve our main goal. Only a well disciplined, well informed group will succeed.
If the above plans and goals are something you would like to contribute to, please register for the forums so that you are able to contribute and participate in raids. The current plan is to conduct a raid two weekends from the date of this post. Information and details are to be provided by Kinship members with in a few days from the date of this post.

As an example of some of the details, please feel free to read the following:
You, as a participant, are expected to read and know your classes expectations. When attending raids, you are expected to function as detailed in those instructions. The instructions will change as we learn from each raid encounter. You are expected to keep up with those changes. Your comments on the instructions are welcome, as our Kinship does not have every class covered and can not comment on those things we do not consider ourselves skilled in. The specific classes we need input for are, Lore-master, Captain and Hunter.
As a participant you are expected to register for a particular raid you wish to attend. A registration thread will be started stating that it is a registration for a raid on a particular date. You register for a raid by adding a post to that thread stating you plan to be there. The first 24 to register will be considered the raid group, any others will be considered standby. We know that there will be times when plans will change, and it is expected that some standby will be needed for each raid.
