I know this probably should be in the news section, but I dont think it really falls under any of our categories.. other than maybe news of the weird... but check this out.

As many of you may know, Sylver and I live together (my life partner.... (only kidding))... but as I was getting ready to head out for the bar and a movie, I look over to the apartment building next to us and see this

http://www.dailypress.com/news/dp-now-complexhit-jl31,0,3478038.story

I dont know how the hell the girl did that with her car... this building is located right in a U-turn shaped parking lot with not a whole lot of space. I thought some one might have had a seizure or fell asleep at the wheel, but apparently that wasnt the case. Needless to say I thought it was funny to come home nearly 5 hours later only to see SEVERAL fire trucks / police / etc there all working on getting this support beam back up... if I worked that slow at my job, I would be fired. And for all of you who know me, thats saying A LOT.

yeah... touche'. I hate to say it but TYPICALLY women are pretty bad drivers :( (sorry ladies,..)

Even on my way out there was a fire truck trying to pull a wide right-turn and some lady thought she could slip by the fire truck before it made its turn or something.. only to come to a screatching hault when she realised she was wrong... THEN tried to go through the light when my light turned green almost hitting me after the fact

From our Balcony.. of course you can't see the damage but it would have been more to the right side there.

funny thing is in that picture Sylver posted up, you're only seeing about HALF of the cars that showed up to 'help out' ... was quite ridiculous

The people I yell at while driving are women far more often than men and I'd like to agree. Women may be the so-called "considerate gender" but when they are behind the wheel, they are oblivious to any other driver not immediately in front of them, and even that's iffy. I think if you completely took away all the windows and left a little 2" tank slot they wouldn't drive differently. BUT, womens' insurance rates are much lower than mens' for a reason - they are lower risk. Insurance companies are putting their money where their mouths are with decades of statistics behind those rates.

In the month in a half i was with that girl I was dating, she knocked her left mirror off her van, backed up into a pole... ran 2 people off the road in the same day. And hit a curb and put a dent in her rim....

She is normally distracted, but still, most girls I know in my life dont use turn signals. Amoungst other things (family or otherwise). Its almost like they don't like signaling their next move because their afraid a guys going to follow them or something.

As for guy, their fast, speedy... dick around a lot and get in stupid accidents that involve jumping a ditch, flying 20 feet and hitting the side of a school bus, which is more costly than side swiping a car like girls. Or backing up into someone, girls like to do that too.

On (Hae-Yu's) Point...
Sunday when coming home from the springs, my boss had a blowout on the interstate. He pulled over into the emergency lane and called me to pick him up on the way. While they were waiting for me, a woman came by. She decided to be nice, give him some room, and move into the left lane. Well, as nice as it was of her to do so for my boss, the driver of the 18 wheeler (full of Porches) did not appreciate it. Nobody was hurt, but the womans car was pretty tore up from merging into the side of the semi.

It makes me wonder...HOW THE FUCK DO YOU NOT SEE A 18 WHEEL SEMI TRUCK?!?!?

Very true sammie. Some girls can be kick ass drivers... take the "new" female Indy Racer for example.. I probably couldnt do that shit... although I would like to

However, for the record... I almost got in TWO accidents this morning. Both of which were women driving minivans

Let's say MOST women, not ALL women. Besides, I've never hit anything with my car, OR gotten a speeding ticket (or even pulled over for speeding, for that matter.) Thunder got pulled over the onther night on the way to work, AND we'd had our car for about 3 months before he backed up into a stationary moving truck the size of a large U-Haul. He didn't see IT, either...

I believe the trick is to be concious and level minded. The girls I've dated have been neither and I haven't found someone I felt safe driving with myself as far as girls go.... Sammie, your a exception that is rare, hence why you hold your own so well in a world of men, but! ... Actually one of my old bosses saw a lady take a dip into the center median on the highway/flip over like 5 times and had her car upside down on the side of the road. He stopped.. crawled through the glass in her SUV just to make sure she was ok, and then she slapped him for touching her and saying are you ok? She wanted to wait for the cops to come, she said she wasn't moving until then.
