Alright what's the deal exactly? Most of stuff my stuff is in boxes and I am limping along with an improvised desk and am FAR behind on the latest and greatest (as my 9500 pro shows...) but I hear good things about counterstrike source.

I guess to get back into the swing of things I would to reinstall my truly ancient half life cd and then go where to get all the downloads?

Hand, don't worry about reinstalling your old HL cd, just buy HL2 through Steam.
