I miss Beserker and his "one more game of Starcraft" about 6 times in a night....

One night he was at our place when we lived in Vegas, and THUNDER actually went to bed and I got to stay up and play StarCraft...With Beserker and his "one more game"...Thunder got up with the baby (who's now 7 yrs old), and I got to sleep in. Of course, Beserker wouldn't let me go to bed until about 9am...

I talk to beserkers brother every now and then... beserker himself everytime i talk to him sounds like my drunk uncles and I can't understand him all too much....

He's not exactly mia, just sort of fallen off the face of the planet, he's the only younger generation from our family thats east towards you guys, lol... except his sister, but I don't know her so she doesn't count.

Wish he'd come visit. Everytime he does he comes, and then leaves with our garage door opener/house key, or something else so that when he comes back everyones like "finally!".

We're supposed to go meet his bro and him in Texas for Thx-giving. But I've decided against texas since my ex is there... I'm going to go the opposite direction to san diego... lol... My aunt seems pissed at me for that. She kept saying, but its just for a few da... I cut her off and said no, ex is there!.. She said "but she lives in hous...".. again, NO, EX IS THERE!... I shall never enter Texas again... infact, I'll pay to have my car airlifted over the state if I ever need to drive past it. Atleast I'll avoid love bugs, pollen... giant flys, nats, mysquito's.. fucking wear on your car from obscure humidity... did I mention when a cold front comes into town it drops the temp 30 degrees in a hour?.. WTF!....Screw Texas, and their damn irrisistable, savory... perfect brisket, that melts in your mouth and is not juicy but not dry... which comes with frys... that are perfect and not soggy... I actually have to go to sleep - work in 4 hours. Thats why I'm talking this way and all. Night.

I like Eng the most too! But sniping is really great fun too...I usually only snipe on 2Fort though! Kinda like a noob sniper map I think because I'm not that good sniping on the other maps!

I'm not that good at sniping yet either, but I've only been a sniper for about half a round. I'm just not fast enough. My favorite thing to do is be an offensive engi, and build my guns in the other team's side on 2fort. I love my guns. :smile:

Sniping is pretty easy really. Alot of people try to follow a target with the red dot, its too difficult to predict a random movement. So set up where you are comfy and wait for the bad guy to cross where you have your aim set up and pull the trigger. Dont forget about the fact the shot will power up over time. Always aim for the face. Set up is important. For example, if Im covering a hallway, i will zoom in and use teammates running down the hall to judge head level. That way i only have to wait. Im set up at head level, ready to dome a mofucka :P

After a while you get how the angles work on a map and you can slice around corners and jack people up pretty good and generally get the jump on another sniper thats looking for you. People are predictable in that everyone wants revenge.. so move around alot. Or stay still and own people that never change their tactic, they are the easiest kind.

Spies.. sometimes I will just fire if I get the heeby jeebies.. once in a while I will shoot a spy in the face while they are cloaking up to me and that makes me smile. SOMETIMES you can see a shimmer.. if you see a shimmer.. shoot at it, its a spy. Also, when a spy uses a teleporter then cloaks, they will have that nice little sparkly trail following them around for a few seconds. But mostly spies just come up and stab me in the back.

Also, always shoot the medic first, in the face is best. Scouts.. generally its just dumb luck to hit them unless they are stupid and run in a straight line.

Wow, it really does. I am open to ANY help I can get to be a better part of the team (and a better player.) Thanks for the advice...keep it coming!

Right now I'm still getting used to the maps. I used to know every inch of the old TFC maps, knew where the best hiding places were, knew the hardest and best places to set up a sentry. It usually takes me a while to get familiar with the maps...that's one of the hardest things for me. I know I can go in by myself and look around when no one else is in there, but honestly that doesn't help me much. Generally just playing for a while does it best for me. Which means, of course, I need to get my butt in the server more often. :smile:
