TF2 Dos and Don'ts

I think it really is for the noobs... I'd say save the time of watching it and just read the main point summary...

1. Use rocket/grenade/double jumps...
2. Balance the team (I too hate seeing 4-5 snipers even on a 2fort map)
3. Medics need to spam heal everyone around him/her (not just one heavy)
- PS: But when you see a heavy going forward and taking point... make sure you stick with him for a while so he can take the hits, then keep others alive.
- Gotta play a little D sometimes...

One thing that I didn't even know...
** You can take back the cap point once it's turned into another color**

It really is all basic info and that sums it up...I was just too lazy to write all that! :)

I too didn't realize that you could take the control point back faster by standing on it though.

heheh yeah it was a peeve of mine when people wouldnt take BACK the capture point as well.

Yeah, no idea what you guys mean by that. It locks on most maps.

The medic advice swings both ways. Take care of your medic and he'll take care of you. If I had a nickel for every time some idiot ran off and left me to a pyro, I'd be a rich man right now.

The maps that don't have stages like granary and cp_well work like that. Maybe he just didn't realize it because he's usually on the team that owns the other, and they never recover the cp's :lol:

What is the "Battle Creek" map they're talking about in the video? I've never seen it...looks really cool though!

Is it a new map? Is it on the server but not in the rotation?

i played it today with poostick....

the layout is very similar from the battle creek on halo 1 and 2

its just boring and gay and if ever full... will turn into a huge snipe fest...

its very plain...

it does have the teleports in the rear of the 2 buildings... and an arch in the middle... thats about as good as it gets...

That map would rock if you can Ban Classes on a per map basis and take out the snipers for that map... I think lots of blood and guts would be fun on Battle Creek, but yeah what Tuck's saying's pretty much true though...

Just on a side note.. even those Cap points that do "lock" after they have been -partcially- captured, can still be 'faught back'

you will notice the dial move from red to blue when it is being captured. If you kill the person (or people) taking the point, he capture point still remains somewhat blue.. which leaves it really vulnerable as they mentioned in the video. A single scout could just run up there.. stand on the point for 2 more seconds and boom, its theirs.
