Here's a little blast from the past...

I played it for a long time, and made quite a few maps for it and modded the shit out of it. I even ported a few maps from Doom and Doom2 I had made. Definitely had a long run.

It's funny, whenever I think of Duke Nukem, I now think of that ventrillo harassment clip. If you never heard it, prepare to laugh your ass off....

Check out 'peggy forever' after that clip. They use her sound bits in another server... halarity ensues. Video 54.
And yeah, duke nukem kicked so much ass. I even found myself playing it through again as recently as this summer. Good stuff.

Wolfenstein anyone? :doubt:
see as I was growing up - my family liked Mac's and my PC gaming experience was lacking... so while you all were playing Duke Nukem... or maybe even after you were done and tired of it - I was playing

I loved Nukem, and learning how to build maps was a lot of fun. I also played the crap outa this game, along with Sylver, Bob the Mighty, and I think Ioscream. Its been so long though that the clip really brings back memories. Doom and Quake 1 will always be my first and favorite(ya I played wolfenstien, and blake stone and all those other FPS games, but they never caught me like Quake and Doom did.). Ahhh I remember checking www.planetquake.com for the latest mods every week. Those are only memories now though, sorry I'm gettin all nostalgic.

I remember getting Doom2 for xmas when I was around 12yrs old I think, a friend and I got a pizza and played late into the night the next day. My friend kindly woke me up at 4am by puking on me from the top bunk of my bunk beds. When I asked him what the hell was wrong, he said he was having nightmares from the game and it made him sick, heh.

I was playing Kid Icarus all day yesterday for those of you who know what it is. Using an NES emulator on my computer.
Good times

I got this game called Drawn to Life for my son for christmas. You draw the spaceships and heros for the game then use the drawings to play through the game. He's always drawing on everything so I thought he'd like this. Especially since he's already beaten the new Mario Brothers game. Which, btw Sammie, is very fun.
I never did play Kid Icarus Neb but Blaster Master, Bionic Commando, Zelda, Galaxian and Final Fantasy were all thumb blisteringly good.
