DNS Redirection services generate additional revenue off of mistyped URLs -- sending wayward surfers and their butterfingers to an ISP-run portal (with ads), instead of a traditional page not found error site. One user claims you'll be opted out for only as long as your IP lease lasts.
"We have a DSL business account with Embarq, all static IPs, and three causes for concern regarding this new feature," says another.
