What resolution do you guys use both in windows and TF2?
Finally upgraded to a new pc and I should have a 22 inch widescreen when I get home.

Whats a good resolution for that size?
right now im 1024x768 in game with my CRT

22 seemed to be about average now. Anyone go bigger?
Thoughts?

cool I was reading a little about LCDs and I found the native resolution for mine.
How about in tf2 though?

I'm also using a 22" widescreen monitor. My in-game resolution is 1680x1050. It's the same as my Windows resoultion, and it looks awesome.

cool thats the native resolution of my monitor also. Do you get pretty good FPS at that resolution? What GFX card do you have?

I'm sure you meant that question more to Dan, but for me I get okay frames. Its not great, but the little hessitation I do experience doesnt bother me at all.

I currently am running an ATI Radeon X1800XT (512MB card)

I get anywhere from 25-60 fps, depending on what map, how many people are moving around, and just the general clutter of whatever I'm staring at. I have a 7600gt, which is a very good card for the price I paid. (About $70)

So... I guess this is kind of on topic... I run at about 12-17 FPS... HAHA! I've NEVER played a game with GNG that I had more though, so I'm use to it. I sometimes wonder how good I really would have been at CS or even TF2 if I got a gaming computer.

But, anyways, I was thinking... in my CS days we use to have a bunch of commands/settings in the console I could use to make the performance better. Also, there were crosshair adjustment commands. Does anyone have a link to a website or something that might have these for TF2??
