Wow!...I thought the Source engine couldnt get any better than what it is. I was fucking 100% wrong. The new shit Valve is working on with the Source engine is fucking amazing. The new Lost Level they are about to release is going to Ass rape just about every system unless your running a super computer.

wow...
That is the kind of effect I was talking about with the other game, Far Cry. Of course HL2 is far superior in all aspects of gameplay, but I still am yet to see anyone who has done a better water rendering job than CryTek... but that sure looks like it comes damn close... if not just as good.
HL2 is teh pwn.

I'm going to need a new computer this winter.
my 2.4 athlon with a radeon 9800pro isn't going to cut it with the next batch of games coming out. Damn microsoft and their xbox2!

Im not going to upgrade my Vid card until the 512MB come out. They just showed a 512MB card that Radeon is working on a couple weeks ago, so its in the near future. When I do get a new vid card I am wanting to get a PCI express enabled motherboard, maybe get the new super Pentium chipset, and a new power supply.

The only problem with buying the new 512 meg card is that you can probably buy an entire system for what the card alone would cost!

I'm guessing around $500 a pop, if not more.

oh yes... it will be pricey..
I bought the Radeon X800 Pro... $450 + ~$50 for a 2 year warrenty... the funny thing is I bought it at Comp USA, and the guy even told me.. he was like "yeah man, you come in after 2 years, and we have a new card out... you can snap yours in half, and we have to give you a new one... just bring in the two peices... or even just bring half of it in... we dont care." so I think I might even do that... I dont usually look into actually doing stuff like that, but for a ~$500 video card... I better get a BJ while playing source

L1ve, if you'll be my sugar daddy I'll sit on your lap for christmas.
If I buy a card it's always a year old so I only have spend 150-200 for nearly top of the line stuff.
