I'm excited to tell you all that I no longer work for "the man" or any man for that matter.

Currently I'm licensed under Chris Sewell Flooring, but that will soon change to Ceramic Dynamics. I got a call the other day from someone that said he needed me to work some contracts for them. As my helper and I were tired of getting the run around from the other guy we worked for, it was easy to take the jobs. No more getting paid by the hour...no more putting up with bullshit slack ass punk kids that think they know everything only to have Me and Ashley (some of you may remember him as Dragon/Core) go back and tear their shit out and fix it...I finally made the jump. Head first into the shit, literally. My first contract is a home that consists of 4000 square feet of floor tile, two massive stand up showers with two garden tubs and one standard tub. The job will take about a month and a half to complete, but that's ok...it's on Pensacola Bay. An awesome view.

I can't help but be excited about it. Thus this post. You all know I've been bitching about being broke for oh, the last two years, well know more damnit!!! Anyway, this house is H-U-G-E and it being my first big contract of many to come, I'll be posting pics as it progresses.

Hurray for me!

I can't believe you said "clap it up" you deserve the asshat of the day award :smash:

Thanks everyone. I guess since I'm not working for "the man" anymore, and I'm doing my own thing, doesn't that make ME "the man"?

Yes it does make you the man (to yourself)

but to be 'the man' to others, you have to higher people under you, and underpay them, and make twice the profit off their asses, and act like you dont.
