Multichannel News (http://www.multichannel.com/article/CA6538718.html) is reporting that Cox Communications will soon launch TiVO service in their New England market. There's no word on pricing or specific launch markets yet, as the product is currently in the testing phase. Comcast launched their own TiVO service last January (http://www.thegng.org/shownews/91202), charging users an $2.95 on top of the $19.89 monthly price they already pay for a Comcast DVR. Unlike a standard TiVO however, Comcast's version doesn't allow users to transfer media from set top to TV or watch Internet video.
